Bar Southern

Bar southern is a British Bar run and owned by a family. As such the average patron is sure of a kindred warm welcome from Les, Carol, Ben, Leslie. The family members originate from the East End of London. Now they are in Roquetas to start life anew. The bar prides itself in a large terrace. The bar is also complete with a large screen T.V. screening major sporting events, the newest music videos, soaps and an extensive food menu which is all freshly cooked. Magazines and books can be read and even swapped at no charge at all. Internet access is available for 2 Euros an hour. The bar serves British-style breakfast from 3.00 Euros. Daily specials on the board include delicious fresh servings of shepherd’s pie, quiche, curries, chili, lasagne and stews as well as homemade deserts such as bread and butter pudding, crumbles and apple pies all served with hot custard. There are also snacks, sandwiches, baguettes and English products like Cheddar cheese, Branston pickle, and Heinz beans on the menu.
Sunday Roast

One of the most delicious roast dinners has one such name to them - Sunday Roast. Its proprietor, Carol is popular in the resort of Roquetas for those sumptuous roast dinners. The patron could choose from chicken, beef or pork each served alongside 5 different freshly cooked vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and bisto gravy. All of these are charged for only 6 Euros. It is recommended that Sunday lunches be booked in advance by Saturday. For any other day, the patron should order in the morning. Come evening time, it will be cooked fresh just in good time. The bar has a great view of the promenade and the sea from its large sunny terrace. Children’s safety is pretty much ensured as the establishment is remote from the road and the traffic. Sunday Roast is just around the corner near The Las Alondras Apartments, passing the Zoraida Gardens. Carol also caters to freshly cooked meals up for home delivery or take away. The patron is advised to order in the morning. In doing so, a delicious meal is on its way, ready to be picked up and eaten in the comfort of home after, say, a great frolic from the beach. The restaurant also serves kebabs to eat in or take away.
