One of the two buildings of interest in Garrucha is the Parish Church de San Joaquin. The other, dedicated to the patron saint of Garrucha, is the Hermitage de la Virgen del Carmen. On the 16th of July, the fishermen traverse past the chapel on their way to the sea in an evoking procession.
